A couple of my girl friends recently introduced me to this new trendy jewelry called the Living Locket made by a company named Origami Owl. Think of Living Lockets like a charm bracelet, but with the charms inside of the locket. After attending the Phoenix Bridal show and seeing their booth, I knew I wanted to get one for my fiance Christina. With our upcoming wedding, picking the charms was pretty easy. Naturally I got an engagement ring charm along with our initials and birthstones. Being the forward thinker I am, I went ahead and ordered the “Just Married” charm to save for after our wedding. Awesome I am set!
Fast forward and it’s about the time I am starting to expect my order in the mail any day. This would be the perfect time for the mail keys to go missing. I should note missing mail keys are not an unusual thing around my house, but they always pop up. Or at least they used to. After a good week and a half looking around for them, it was time to admit they are lost for good. Coordinated with the mail lady and got our mail. Yes, the Origami Owl package is here.
After getting into the package I made sure I took out the “Just Married” charm so I could give it to her later. After Christina finally gets her locket, there ended up being a second “Just Married” charm in the order ruining that surprise. So I wake up this morning to take some pictures of the locket to share with friends and family and what is the first thing I do to it? Drop and break it. Yep, the glass window on the back fractured but is still holding together. We both thought it was a little on the big side anyhow, maybe I will use this as an excuse to order the medium sized locket. It’s supposed to be the thought that counts right?
